I know adults who play this every time they have a spare moment. This is a great toy - for both kids and adults alike. It is stimulating to the brain and is a great solitary activity.
I keep it in the living room all the time. This is an excellent toy, it makes you think while you're having fun.
The game is well designed -- it includes a tray to hold the cards and a bag for the cars when not in use; also, a card holder lets you display the current puzzle. Once you set up the miniatures as depicted, the player's task is to move the cars until a path is cleared for the target car to escape the gridlock. Very nicely done. This game is simple to explain, fun to play for all ages, adaptable to multiple skill levels and designed well -- what more could you ask. Opening the box you'll find a set of plastic cars of varying length, a deck of 40 cards that give layouts for the cars that vary from fairly simple to dastardly.
The drawer for card storage is ideal and it comes with a bag to store the cars in. My 9 year old son absolutely loves this game. He had played it at school and kept asking for it.
Has seen hours of play in my home. Would recommend this for any child, of proper age, and many adults (not the ones that always look like they're constipated). Everyone from my grandchildren to my parents have found enjoyment with this puzzle/game. I have many variations of this puzzle. The railroad and safari versions are more attractive, but no more playable.
